During our Saturday open house, a CIT grabbed the megaphone and yelled “free s’mores and kayaks,” and we somehow got three walk-up enrollments before I could even tape up the QR codes. Has anyone else had a marketing “strategy” you’d never put in the plan but wish you could replicate? I’m this close to adding strategic shouting to staff training, right next to Mailchimp and our A/B subject lines.
plan but wish you could replicate? I’m this close to adding strategic shouting to staff training, right — do it, but script a 10-second pitch and fire it on the half hour, then park a counselor with a clipboard by the s’mores so parents convert without hunting the QR codes. Keep it to two bursts an hour so it stays fun, not grating.
My take: I’d lean toward the simplest next step and see if it changes anything this week — if not, you’ve got a clear case to escalate. What would block you from trying that?
I had the same thing: a CIT yelling “free s’mores and kayaks” crushed our QR codes. If you’re gonna lean into it, give them a trackable magic word to say at check-in and a tiny tally sheet, but watch the Saturday noise rules. Did your QR codes get any scans at all?
