As we gear up for summer camp, I’m really excited about emphasizing teamwork in our drills… Last year, we noticed that when players communicated better, their overall skills improved significantly. I’d love to hear your thoughts on exercises that foster communication and support among teammates.
One effective drill is the ‘silent handoff’ where teammates pass the ball without talking — really sharpens non-verbal communication! What do you think about incorporating it?
I love the idea of the ‘silent handoff’ drill — communication is key! From my experience, incorporating a ‘trust fall’ exercise can really help teammates develop a safety net for each other, both on and off the field. It builds a sense of support that translates to better coordination during drills. Have you thought about mixing in some team-building games too?
Practicing coordinated plays really boosts teamwork. I found that setting specific roles for each player makes communication clearer. Anyone else tried this technique?
