What's the most unusual first aid item you've used

I was reminiscing about last summer when one of our counselors used honey to treat a bee sting. It made me think about all the creative solutions we’ve come up with at camp. What’s the most unusual first aid item you’ve ever had to use or hear about?

Using honey for a bee sting is such a classic camp move! I remember when a counselor used hot sauce on a sprained ankle to distract from the pain — definitely not FDA approved! It’s wild how inventive we get under pressure.
