Hope you find the perfect role this week. Whether it’s on-site or remote, there’s something rewarding out there waiting for you. Keep exploring and good luck with your applications!

Landed a remote program coordinator role last summer by applying within 24 hours and putting a one-liner at the top of my resume like ‘Grades 6–8 | STEM + outdoor games’ — these gigs disappear faster than s’mores at a campfire. Small caveat, @OP: many “remote” roles still expect camp-time evening hours and a quick background check, so note your timezone availability in the first email and keep your cert docs ready.

Applied within hours on a ‘real-time’ posting and got a same-day screen by attaching a 3-day mini-curriculum PDF for a remote counselor role. For program director apps, I add a quick paragraph on virtual safety and parent comms; @twhite’s tagline idea is great, but sloppy fast apps still get ignored. These remote roles vanish fast this week, so keep a ready-to-send packet.

For these ‘real-time’ posts, I lead with my June–August availability in the subject; saves back-and-forth, but still tailor the email.

Piggybacking on @chloe_mar40, I’ve had better luck leading with a short quote header: ‘June 10–Aug 18 | 9–3 ET | CPR/First Aid | STEM game demo’ plus a 30-sec intro video describing one virtual icebreaker; coordinators told me it saved them a screen. If the portal strips links, drop a one-sentence activity plan in the email instead — think trailer, not the whole movie.
